廉岭村又称林岭村，地处廉岭古道旁、仙岫山脉南麓，是一个纯畲族村寨。村部所在的下廉岭距坂中畲族乡政府约4公里，距福安市区约3公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建村已有三百多年。村中留有廉岭古道、清代古民居群和明代烽火台。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

村下辖8个自然村，共1002人。村两委干部5人，党员33人。[1]

地理环境[edit]

下廉岭坐西朝东，海拔275米，居高可俯瞰福安城区。[1]

文化[edit]

村中有多位畲族非物质文化遗产项目的代表性传承人。村里新设了畲族银器制作、畲族服饰制作、畲家养身酒（米酒）制作以及「畲家三宝」（乌米饭、糍粑、菅叶粽）制作等传承坊，组织青少年开展畲族文化和非遗的课外培训与研学实践。[1]

村子的特色农业包括八角丝瓜种植、生态鹅养殖与电商销售。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年、2020年，村庄连续两年获福安市「最美乡村」称号；2018年至2020年获「宁德市文明村」称号，目前正在申报「福建省文明村」。[1]
