铜岩村隶属坂中畲族乡。村名与村后山崖上的一处岩洞有关：当地方言中「铜」与「洞」读音相近，村名便取了「铜」字。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1950年，村地属第一区铜彭乡。1961年改设铜岩小公社，并成立铜岩大队；1966年归坂中公社。1980年6月铜岩大队的名称恢复启用，1984年，此地改设铜岩村委会，名称一直沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
2024年2月，铜岩村入选「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建名单。[1]
