后门坪村距福安市区13公里，是福安雷氏的发源地之一。村子在坂中畲族乡西侧，东面与社口镇为邻，西面则与穆云乡相接。[1][2]

村域面积2.08平方公里。[1]

人口民族[edit]

村中有331户，居民1137人，党员31名。村民以畲族为主。[1][2]

经济[edit]

耕地822亩；园地390亩；林业用地约1422亩；另有25亩畲药基地。近年发展茶叶与水果种植，并建起了茶叶初制厂。[1]

文化[edit]

畲族的「二月二」会亲节列为宁德市级非物质文化遗产，「奶娘催罡」是省级非遗项目。村里的馒斋制作也有特色。雷廷木是「畲族奶娘催罡巫舞」的重要传承人，他带领的团队屡次应邀出席国内各地的传统节庆。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子先后获评「中国少数民族特色村寨」「福建省美丽乡村」，并列入「福建省第四批传统村落」。[1]
