大林村是一个纯畲族行政村，地处坂中畲族乡西部山区，离乡政府驻地有2.7公里路程。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村庄海拔375米。村中生态林约1800亩；耕地则为416.6亩。[1]

人口民族[edit]

全村158户，518人。村委班子共5人，党员有17名。[1]

经济[edit]

村民以种植蔬菜和水蜜桃为主。2008年起，村两委引进企业，村民得以就近就业。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子又名「大蓝」，相传早先村址是一片大树林，村名由此而来。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中的钟氏宗祠，其建造可上溯到清朝康熙末年，具体为1716年。祠堂坐西朝东，两侧山脉环抱；正殿中间及两侧设有神龛，用来供放祖先的神牌，俗称「龙牌」。大林村据称是钟姓的发祥地之一。2006年，福安市人民政府把这座祠堂定为第二批文物保护单位。[1]
