坂中社区位于福安市西郊，濒临富春溪，离福安市城关约3公里。它的前身是坂中村，目前辖熙台、下洋两个自然村，共设16个村民小组。[1]

地理环境[edit]

社区村落占地310公顷。富春溪沿岸有一片天然林，自北向南绵延两公里有余，合248亩，以古樟为主，树龄据称六百余年。该林地2006年被列为省级森林公园。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

2018至2020年，社区借新农村建设和乡村振兴之机，推进「903」电台安置地与中医院安置地的建设。期间，熙台村内道路与通往中心小学门口的道路完成硬化，投入13.5万元；村容整治投入2.6万元；民富中心建设投入18万余元。[1]
