化蛟村是福建省宁德市福安市城阳镇的重点行政村，村子坐落在市南的富春溪边，104国道从村中穿过，距城区约8公里[1][2]。村辖6个自然村，设10个村民小组，博雅地名网载村民439户、1746人，未注统计年份，辖区面积6.5平方千米[2]。

地名由来[edit]

村前溪流环绕，村子原名濑兜，因方言读音相近，后改称化蛟[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1984年改设化蛟村委会，此前1966年组建化蛟大队，1958年化蛟公社成立，1950年复设化蛟乡，1946年设化蛟保，1929年设化蛟乡[1]。

农业[edit]

村中以甘蔗、绿竹、茶叶、葡萄等作物为主，耕地约1075亩[2]。
