白坑村是福建省宁德市福安市东部的行政村，属城阳镇，距市区约9公里，东与马下村接壤，西连铁湖村[1][2]。村落面积4.067平方千米，辖5个自然村，博雅地名网载全村181户、828人，未注统计年份[2]。

地名由来[edit]

村名的来历与一则白波神仙境的传说有关[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

1984年改称白坑村委会，大队建制下称白坑生产大队，设于1966年。1963年至1966年间划归化蛟公社；1950年归城关洋蛟乡，1946年属石门乡，1929年属化蛟乡[1]。

早期建置[edit]

据博雅地名网，此地先秦时期为闽越族的居住地，汉始元二年（公元前85年）属冶县。唐武德六年（623年）起归长溪县管辖，到宋淳祐五年（1245年）改属福安县[2]。

物产[edit]

村中主要作物为水稻、甘薯、茶叶、榛子油与萝卜，茶园约200亩，林地约2300亩[2]。
