东口村是福建省宁德市福安市城阳镇下辖的行政村，位于福安市西北部，在福寿公路边，距市区约10公里，东与湖塘坂村相邻，西与社口镇沙溪村隔溪相望[1][2]。博雅地名网载村域面积1平方千米，全村129户、503人，未注统计年份[2]。
地名由来[edit]
村前东、西两湖，村口的地势形如水口，故名东口[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
博雅地名网记载了两种说法：一说1976年由湖塘坂大队划出，另设大队；一说此前曾属城阳乡湖塘坂大队，80年代又分回东口大队[1][2]。
历史人文[edit]
村中始祖自宋代从寿宁县山峰寺迁来定居，至今已有七百多年[2]。村子旧时地处偏僻，两溪相交，常受洪水之害，经济发展后种植茶叶千余亩，农业结构随之改善[2]。
