荷洋村属福建省宁德市福安市城阳镇，位于福安市东部，东距柘荣县城与霞浦县城各约25公里[1]。村域面积4.6平方千米，博雅地名网载有262户、1126人，未注统计年份[1][2]。

地名由来[edit]

此地多产莲子，花期荷塘满目，遂称荷洋[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村委会建制自1984年起，此前为1964年设立的荷洋大队。1955年曾建初级社，1958年改组为高级社；1950年则设金洋乡[1]。

村落历史[edit]

据村中记载，村里的始祖于清康熙三十三年由福建永定上杭迁入，至今已有三百多年[2]。

村里出过陈伏銮等革命者。陈伏銮在苏维埃政府成立后任第一区领导，后遭反动派围剿牺牲，其继任者邱禄潘也不久牺牲，此后村中百余名青年先后投身革命[2]。叶飞、曾志、马立锋、马步周等人也曾在村中领导工作，村里的古民居在战乱中大多被毁，1950年后重建了五座木屋[2]。
