村子旧称根竹城，因村头有一大片绿竹而得名。此地旧属三十五都下堡。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年隶属上屿乡，1958年组建深安生产大队。1966年7月转归湾坞公社，队名不变；1984年改为深安村委会。[1]
