湾坞镇是福建省宁德市福安市下辖的镇，位于市境南端，依山傍海，临白马河与盐田港。东面与溪尾镇毗邻，北面接赛岐镇，南面和西面隔白马河与下白石镇相望。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

镇名取自这一带依山傍海的海湾，早年海湾边是停泊船只的船坞。[1][4]

1958年，湾坞公社成立，此后一度改称湾坞区。1984年10月，公社改为乡；2010年5月，湾坞乡改设为镇，政府驻地未变。[3][4]

镇下辖1个社区和若干行政村。博雅地名网列有新城社区与19个行政村，百度百科则记为截至2020年6月下辖24个行政村，两处的数目不一致，此处并列。[1][4]

镇域面积116.29平方千米，其中海域占69.77平方千米。东西方向跨度最大约8.46千米，南北方向最长约23.19千米。[1][2]

百度百科记有2018年户籍32967人。据第七次全国人口普查，常住人口为32604人。博雅地名网另写作约1.54万人，未注统计年份。[1][2][4]

农业以水稻、薯类为主，兼产龙眼、茶叶和木材。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

昭明寺观音阁位于宝林村昭山自然村东侧，原名昭明庵，宋代始建，现存建筑为清代所建，属古建筑。[5]

王家边太后宫在炉山村王家边自然村东北约100米处，建于清同治十年（1871年），坐北朝南，属古建筑。[6]
