浦后村位于溪柄镇驻地西北约5.3千米，地处半岛，海拔10米，村委会驻浦后（外浦后）自然村。[1]村名的来历是：当地人称靠近海口的河流一带为“浦”，村子在浦的后面，故名浦后。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国30年（1941年）为福安县第一区（赛岐）柏洋乡的同台保。浦后高级社于1956年创办，浦后大队在1958年8月组成，1981年又称浦后大队，村民委员会在1984年组建。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月获得「2021年福建省卫生村」称号，由省爱卫办确定。[1]
