地名由来[edit]
村名的古称是棠洋，村前有一条山溪横穿而过，溪两岸是成片的田园，因此又叫长洋。[2]博雅地名网的地名条目另说，村前有一片长方形的田洋，故名。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
民国30年（1941年）为福安县第一区溪缠乡的棠洋保。长洋高级社创办于1956年，长洋大队设于1961年，村民委员会在1984年组建。[2]
