下岐村是下白石镇的行政村，村民以渔业为主。村名的来历与当地渔民早年没有像样房屋有关。[1]
地名由来[edit]
早年村民多以捕鱼为生，村里几乎没有房屋；1954年在下白石马头旁的石岐边建起一座办公楼，村因此得名。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2020年12月，村入选「2020年度福建省一村一品示范村」名单（水产品）。2021年9月，获评「第二批全国乡村治理示范村」。2021年12月，被确定为「福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）」，并获「2021年宁德市乡村文化振兴示范村」称号。2025年3月，被认定为「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
