白招村位于下白石镇东南，距镇区约4公里，白马河从村前流过，与湾坞镇隔江相望。村名的来历：村子原名碧洲，因开采石头后石面变白，改称白洲；“洲”与方言“招”同音，遂写为白招。[1][2]

建国初村地属下白石区双碧乡，1958年设白招大队，1984年改设白招村委会。[1]

据百度百科，村辖白招、石壁下两个自然村，全村248户、1248人，常住人口600人。村民以养殖跳跳鱼、种植龙眼为主。[2]
