因附近山岭上樟木繁茂，得名章岭。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国初村地属顶头区岐山乡，1955年设半岭乡。1961年划入下白石区顶头公社，称半岭大队。1980年春分出王坑、林门头两个大队，半岭改名章岭；1984年成立村委会。[1][2]

概况[edit]

百度百科记载，全村159户741人，其中畲族占八成以上；耕地321亩，林地10038亩，茶园110亩，果园175亩。村内有莲花庵和章岭庙等传统活动场所。[2]
