大车村是甘棠镇西南部的村庄，村子建在高山之上，据博雅地名网所载，唐天佑二年自古田杉洋迁来建村。村中的大车宫是清代古建筑，为福安市文物保护单位。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村子地处高山，上山道路陡峭难行，人走其上如同踏着「水车」，故名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

唐天佑二年（905年），一批人自古田杉洋迁来建村。宋代以前此地属长溪县，之后归福安县；明清两代隶属福安县秦溪乡沿江里，所在为二十八都文峰境。民国时期，1938年归三塘乡，1941年大车保划入三塘镇。新中国成立后，1950年设甘棠区大车乡，1958年改为大队，归岭尾公社；1967年划归甘棠公社，1984年改为村民委员会。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

大车宫坐东北向西南，由前厅、两廊、天井和正殿组成。前厅始建于清道光二十五年（1845年），正殿为乾隆年间的建筑规制，殿内供奉本境土主、奶娘和林公大王。2013年，福安市人民政府将其列为第五批市级文物保护单位。[2]

荣誉[edit]

本村在2019年12月进入第一批国家森林乡村的名录。[1] 2020年2月，村子列入省级第三批传统村落的名录。[1] 2023年2月，村子进入第三批高级版绿盈乡村的名单。[1] 本村于2024年1月获评「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
