倪下村是甘棠镇西北部的村庄，海拔50米，距镇政府驻地6公里，距福安市区30.5公里。村内的倪下塔是宋代石塔，为福建省文物保护单位。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，倪姓最早在此居住，故名。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

民国三十四年（1945年）前，此处为三塘镇的倪洋保；新中国成立后划入甘棠区倪洋乡。1956年在鹳洋乡内组建倪下高级社，1961年7月改属观洋公社，成为倪下大队。1984年改为村民委员会，生产大队同时更名为倪下村。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

倪下塔位于村中，是北宋熙宁六年（1073年）所建的实心石塔。塔为九层八角的楼阁式，通高6.85米，塔身各层的壶门内浮雕佛像，塔刹为七层相轮。2013年，它被列入福建省第八批省级文物保护单位名录，保护范围为塔周外延20米。[2][5]

荣誉[edit]

2020年2月，倪下村列入省级第三批传统村落的名录。[1] 本村于2024年1月获评「2023年福建省卫生村」，同年6月，又进入第四批高级版绿盈乡村的名录。[1]
