英岐村是甘棠镇下辖的村庄，临江靠山。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子临江靠山，山形似鹰，原称「鹰岐」，后谐音写作「英岐」。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

村子在1950年归下白石区泽聚乡，1955年改属甘棠区的同名乡。1958年公社化时组建英岐大队。1983年10月乡制恢复，重设乡人民政府；次年英岐大队被撤，村民委员会随之成立。[2]
