奎住村是甘棠镇下辖的村庄，三面环山、一面向海，2021年由「奎聚村」更名而来。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村子三面是山，一面临海，早年田间蛙虫密集。村民取「奎」字所含的自信、好学、诚实、善良等寓意，希望子孙兴旺、生活安定，定名奎住。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

村子先归下白石区的泽聚乡，后改属甘棠区。1956年建立农业合作社，1958年设奎聚大队，1984年改名奎聚村民委员会。2021年6月，据博雅地名网所载，依《福安市人民政府关于甘棠镇牛家洋等3个村更名的批复》，改称奎住村。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2022年12月，省农业农村厅认定本村为「一村一品」专业村，主产红美人柑橘。[1] 本村于2024年1月获评「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
