港岐村位于甘棠镇东北部，距镇区约1.8公里，是镇乡结合地带的村庄。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子依山靠海，并建有港口，因此得名。[1]

概况[edit]

据博雅地名网概况，村辖土地1.82平方公里，全村有544户、1896名村民（年份未载），下设10个村民小组。村民在种植水稻、茶叶之外，利用邻近镇区的位置从事船舶拆解和船舶零配件交易，带动了村里的经济。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

此村曾属甘棠区外塘乡（1950年代初）。1958年组建港岐大队，1984年，该大队改称港岐村，并推选出村民委员会。[3]
