凤林村建村于1683年。1984年成立凤林村委会，同年生产大队更名为凤林村。村中的富溪补阙祠供奉唐代薛令之与历代祖先。祠堂于唐光化二年（899）开始兴建，1753年重建，1848年与1858年又先后修缮。[1]
