溪填村的村名来自一次洪水：洪水冲流，堆积成坂，将溪填平，故名。原名富溪村。公社化时期这里是溪填大队；1984年，村委会以“溪填”一名组建，至今未改。本地民俗中保留有福安平讲戏、畲族银器锻制技艺，特产包括坦洋工夫茶、福安葡萄等。[1][2]
