村子位于一座山岭的后面，故名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年此地属沙洋乡，称岭后村；1958年划入沙洋管理区，称岭后大队；1961年属沙洋小公社。1978年分出仍设岭后大队，1984年改称岭后村。[1]
