坦洋村位于社口镇西北部，白云山东麓，距镇区约6公里，是“坦洋工夫”红茶的发祥地。[3][5]
村内清代古民居与茶行建筑保存较多，村子于2014年进入第三批中国传统村落名录，并在2019年1月获评第七批中国历史文化名村。[1][2]
坦洋工夫[edit]
坦洋工夫红茶在清咸丰年间（1851年）前后于村内试制成功，此后远销海外，1915年在巴拿马太平洋万国博览会获金奖。[1][5]
坦洋工夫先后获得「国家地理标志保护产品」「国家证明商标」「中国驰名商标」等称号。[4]
古建筑与文物[edit]
村中仍留有一批清代建筑，包括民居、茶行楼（即横楼）、炮楼、廊桥、天后宫，以及施氏、胡氏两座宗祠。据福安市人民政府网站，村内有市级文物保护单位5处，另有历史建筑16处，较完好的古民居约27座。[5]
党建[edit]
坦洋村曾被授予「全国先进基层党组织」「全省先进基层党组织」称号。1988年至1990年间，时任宁德地委书记的习近平四次到村，将其作为党建工作联系点。[4][5]
2024年设立大坦洋片区党委，带动周边7个行政村协同发展。[1]
茶业与生态[edit]
全村有茶园约3200亩，林地4154亩，森林覆盖率为74.5%。百度百科称村内建成全国首个5G农业智慧茶园，并发展茶旅融合。[1][2]
