后湾垅村位于潭头镇西北部山区，由后湾垅、上横山两个自然村组成，西面与寿宁县交界[1]。

地名由来[edit]

村子位于山湾与山垅之间，背面为湾，前面为垅，村名由此而来[1]。

人口与沿革[edit]

博雅地名网记载全村155户、551人，现常住人口200多人，未注明统计年份[1]。1978年从半坑村分出，称后塆垅大队；1984年改为后塆垅村，沿用至今[1]。
