地名由来[edit]
村庄地处西南部地势较平坦之地，有一片洋田，故名上坪洋[1]。
人口与沿革[edit]
博雅地名网记载全村301户、1071人，未注明统计年份[1]。1959年称上坪洋大队，后改为上坪洋村委会，沿用至今[1]。
