鹅山村位于潭头镇西北部山区，村内有五个自然村，是畲族人口聚居的村庄[1]。
地名由来[edit]
建村时附近有一座名为鹅山的山，村名随山名而来[1]。
人口与地理[edit]
博雅地名网记载全村220户、776人，现常住人口200多人，未注明统计年份[1]。村庄离镇政府驻地约13公里，离福安市城区约29公里[1]。鹅山畲族村民委员会设在鹅山自然村[1]。
沿革与荣誉[edit]
1950年隶属第九区后洋乡，1958年设大队，归上白石公社领导，1969年改由潭头公社管辖，1984年大队改设为村委会，沿用至今[1]。村庄是福安市的老区基点村[1]。
