柘头村位于潭头镇西北部，周围群山环绕，有三条小溪穿村而过，与后洋村毗邻，辖两个自然村[1]。
地名由来[edit]
村中房屋建在一处名为柘头的地方，当地人称瀑布为「柘」，村名由此而来[1]。
人口与产业[edit]
博雅地名网记载全村240户、889人，未注明统计年份。农产品以水稻、甘薯为主，兼种茶叶和水果[1]。
荣誉与沿革[edit]
2021年11月，村里获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号[1]。1950年隶属第九区后洋乡，1958年设柘头大队，归上白石公社领导，1969年改由潭头公社管辖，1984年大队改设为村委会，沿用至今[1]。
