高岩村在潭头镇西北部，离福安城区约16公里，村内只有一个山里自然村[1]。

地名与沿革[edit]

村庄靠近一座地势较高的山，村名由此而来[1]。1950年隶属第九区潭头乡，1958年设大队，归上白石公社领导，1969年改由潭头公社管辖。1980年因重名改称高岩大队；1984年大队改设为村委会，沿用至今[1]。

人口与产业[edit]
