泥洋村位于潭头镇中西部山区，下辖四个自然村，与高岩村、渔溪洋村相邻[1]。
地名由来[edit]
村落地形如船，原称船洋。因为「船」与「土」在方言中同音，而「土」又与「泥」同音，于是衍为今名[1]。
人口[edit]
博雅地名网记载全村347户、1160人，另有常住人口400多人，未注明统计年份[1]。
沿革[edit]
1950年隶属第九区泥洋乡。1958年设大队，归上白石公社领导，1969年改由潭头公社管辖。1984年大队改设为村委会，沿用至今[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
上桃洋赵氏宫位于上桃洋（亦称上泥洋、仓里）自然村的村口一带，始建年代不详，清康熙年间，即1686年重建。该宫在村头与厝基村尾之间，属古建筑[1]。
