历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：村址在山头之上，「境」字则是清代一种行政区划的名称，两者合在一起作为村名。[1]

1950年初属姜尾乡，1959年设立大队，隶属姜尾管理区，1961年归姜尾公社。1966年撤区并社后保留山头境大队，1984年改设山头境村委会。[1]
