里垄坑村隶属上白石镇，村名得自村址建在两道溪坑的分界之处。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1952年一度归坪庄乡管辖，次年并入上白石乡。1980年另立里垄坑大队，1984年改设村委会。[1]

近年来，本村先后得到几项认定：福建省农业农村厅于2022年10月认定其为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」，「2022年福建省卫生村」的称号也在2022年底确定，2023年10月又被列为「2023年度宁德市一村一品专业村」。[1]
