中兴街位于穆阳镇中心区，居委会驻地靠近狮子岩山脚，周围群山环绕[1]。社区名称取自居委会所在处正位于四条巷的中心[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

2010年设立中兴街居委会，现名即自此时沿用[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

辖区内的狮岩隘口建于明代，石构、券顶，是穆阳旧城墙上仅存的城门，南北走向，俗称“裹柴隘口”[1]。
