历史沿革[edit]
据百度百科，该村始建于宋太平兴国年间。[2]
解放初期此地属赛岐乡，村名狮子村。1958年设狮子头大队，1966年曾称上游大队，1980年复名狮子头村，1984年改设村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
村内以食品加工为主导产业，并种植葡萄、蔬菜等农作物，村民创办了多家食品加工企业。[1][3]
文化[edit]
2013年，狮子头村入选全国「美丽乡村」创建试点；2024年11月，村庄获认定为福建省「一村一品」专业村，所属类别为食品加工（2024年度）；第七届全国文明村镇的称号于2025年3月授予该村；该村在2026年1月列为福建省乡村振兴示范村（2026年度）。[1][2]
名胜古迹[edit]
福安革命烈士纪念碑位于村东北面的山岗上，始建于1956年，为纪念福安革命烈士而建，属近现代重要史迹及代表性建筑。[1][3]
村庄是闽东革命老区的基点村，叶飞、曾志、马立峰等老一辈革命家曾在此领导闽东革命斗争。[1]
