苏阳村隶属赛岐镇，位于赛江东岸的屏峰山麓，距赛岐镇区约5公里。村名因位于苏阳山下而得，2022年10月由苏洋村更名为苏阳村。[2][1]

历史沿革[edit]

关于建村年代，百度百科称后唐同光年间（923年）苏氏迁居建村；博雅地名网则称自唐天成年间（926年）建村。两说不同，并列于此。[2][1]

1245年前此地归长溪县灵霍乡的沿江里，自1245年起划入福安县。1929年成立苏洋乡，隶甘棠区。1946年化为保，改隶赛岐镇；1950年又成为乡，归第六区甘棠管辖。1963年称苏头大队，属赛岐区；1966年重设苏洋大队，改隶赛岐公社。1984年改设苏洋村民委员会，其后再改为苏阳村民委员会。[1]

文化[edit]

2020年12月，苏阳村入选福建省「一村一品」示范村（杨梅）；2021年11月，获福建省爱卫办命名为2021年福建省卫生村；2022年10月，被认定为第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇。[1]
