秀洋村是赛岐镇下辖的行政村，村名因风景秀丽、田地富饶而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放初此地属赛岐（第五）区的象洋秀洋村；1956年并入溪柄区，1958年划归罗公社象洋管理区，1961年又划回赛岐区。1966年一度称首洋大队，因与他村重名，1981年6月改称秀洋大队；1984年改为秀洋村委会。[1]
文化[edit]
秀洋村在2015年10月进入福建省第一批省级传统村落之列；2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予其「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2026年1月，该村列为福建省2026年度乡村振兴示范村之一。[1]
