城北街道是福建省宁德市福安市下辖的街道，位于福安市主城区北部。街道为福安市委、市政府机关所在地，据福安市人民政府介绍，也是全市的政治、商务与文化中心。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

城北街道成立于1991年，由韩阳镇析置而来，名称沿用至今。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

街道土地面积596.85公顷，辖区之内设有汽车北站。穿山路、中兴路与新华路是境内的主干道，104国道则从辖区通过。[1]

人口[edit]

据2020年末统计，街道户籍人口为4.9万人，常住人口则为9.2万人。[1]

经济[edit]

街道以商贸服务为主，是福安工农业产品的集散地，辖区登记在册的经营单位有2500多家。依托韩阳煌都商圈、京都商贸城与万利广场等商贸场所，连同王基岭工业园区，电机电器、电子按摩器和服务业成为本地较为突出的行业。[1]

文化教育[edit]

周边的10多所学校中，城北中学、宁德市师范附小、宁德市民族中学和宁德市职业技术学院都在其列。街道另设有体育场、老年大学和富春公园等文体设施。[1]

街道的社区体育健身俱乐部曾获「全国社区体育健身俱乐部」称号。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年2月，城北街道入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[2]
