官村社区位于福安市城南街道。辖区内有「金鼎观湖小区」「宝立小区」，还有沃源里和一片民营工业园区；社区北侧以行政服务中心一带为界，东侧至沃源里，西侧到官村桥头。[1]

社区总占地约0.8平方千米，分为5个网格，管理17个居民小组。[1]

社区名称来自旧时村中有人在朝廷为官的说法，博雅地名网如此记载。[1]

1997年，社区居委会设立，名称沿用至今。[1]
