凤洋村位于英山乡南部，是乡的南大门，距乡政府约2公里，三面环山，交通便利。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村子所在的山形如凤凰，原称凤上洋，后为便于称呼改为今名。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村内气候温和，年降雨量约1600至2120毫米，产出以水稻为主，此外有太子参、杨梅、白术和茶叶。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
1934年，禾熟洋一带设有苏维埃政府；1935年设禾熟洋保，1944年取消。1952年成立凤上洋乡，归第三区管辖；1958年变为凤上洋大队，1965年归英山公社，1975年改名凤洋大队。1984年大队撤销，改设村民委员会。[1]
2020年12月，村子进入「2020年福建省森林村庄」名单，同月又入选「2020年度福建省一村一品示范村」（太子参）；2021年11月，获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
