半岭村在英山乡西南部：北侧是何家山村与英山村，南侧挨着李家山村，东侧与田头洋、凤洋两村接壤，西侧越过界线就是福安市上白石镇的沙坑村。距乡政府约7公里。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村民的祖先在沙坑岭的半山腰开基建房、立村，村名由此而来。[1]

经济[edit]

村民收入以茶叶和药材种植为主，太子参、白术是主要药材，同时兼养肉兔。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1934年，村里曾设苏维埃政府；1935年建半岭保，归英窦坑联保管辖。1952年置半岭乡，归第三区；1958年成为半岭大队，1965年划入英山公社；1984年大队撤销，村民委员会取而代之，地名保留至今。[1]

2008年，半岭村被列为省级社会主义新农村建设「百村示范联系点」。2020年12月，入选2019年度福建省「一村一品」示范村（茶叶）名单；2023年2月，列入福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村名单；2026年1月，该村列为「福建省2026年度乡村振兴示范村」。[1][2]
