社坪村位于楮坪乡南部，全村5个自然村，列名的有丹池、桥头、西洋、官丹岗。村名取自村后山形如灯盏挂壁、光照祠堂坪之意。[1]

文化旅游[edit]
西竹岔战斗遗址在村周边的山头，包括社坪村、洪坑村和苏家洋村的部分山头。[1][2]
荣誉与沿革[edit]
福建省爱卫办于2021年11月授予社坪村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1] 1934年间，社坪一带有过苏维埃政府。[1] 1935年改设社坪保，隶蒲洋乡联保；之后1952年设社坪乡，1958年称社坪大队，1984年改为村民委员会。[1]
