湾里村地处楮坪乡西北侧，和福安市上白石镇的前洋村接壤，是畲族聚居的行政村，包括湾里、王家山两个自然村。村名来由是村址位于一段弯曲地带。[1]

荣誉[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月授予湾里村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1934年间此地有湾里乡苏维埃政府。1952年又设湾里乡，1958年称湾里大队，1984年大队撤并，换为村民委员会。[1]
