茶湾村处在楮坪乡的西北侧，与福安市上白石镇沙坑村为邻，隔溪与英山乡李家山村相对，离乡政府约15公里。全村下辖8个自然村，其中茶湾、楼岗、丹斗三个较大的自然村为畲族聚居。[1][2]
