坪坑村是福建省宁德市柘荣县宅中乡下辖的行政村，位于乡域东北部，是全乡唯一的老区基点村。[1][2]

地名[edit]

先民在山坑之畔开基建房、聚居成村，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1934年，上坪坑村一带曾设苏维埃政府。1965年，坪坑大队组建，归宅中公社；1984年大队改为坪坑村村民委员会。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

村子距乡政府9公里，土地面积合计4488亩，林地3988亩。全村分为坪坑、下坪坑、黄岐坑3个自然村，编为5个村民小组，共79户、286人；其中常住66人，流动220人。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，村子获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
