上楼村位于黄柏乡东南部，离乡所在地22公里，辖桦铃、上楼、坪岗3个自然村。[1]

迁居之初，此处只建了山楼；后来在村落下部另建村庄，这里位于上方，因而称上楼。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1934年，上楼村设苏维埃政府。1935年成立上楼保，隶属菖蒲洋联保，1940年改属菖宅乡。[1]

1958年设上楼大队，次年撤并，1965年重新设立大队；1984年撤销大队，设立村民委员会。[1]

人口民族[edit]

全村70户、308人，其中常住83人，流动225人，分为6个村民小组。群众主要姓氏为孙、张、陈、邓、黄、池，村民主要收入为茶叶和太子参。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中百年古庙芹山宫内，奉祀的是玉皇大帝和南北极仙翁。[1]
