川木洋村在黄柏乡西南部，离乡所在地9公里，辖1个自然村。[1]

村名本作菖蒲洋，因村中昔日多生菖蒲；后因书写时谐音，演变为今名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1934年，此地设立菖蒲洋乡苏维埃政府。1935年组建菖蒲洋保，隶属菖蒲洋联保，1940年转属菖宅乡，乡公所驻于此。[1]

1952年复立菖蒲洋乡，划归第二区；1956年划入富溪区；1958年组成菖蒲洋大队，归富溪公社管辖；1965年转归黄柏公社。1980年改称川木洋大队，1984年撤销大队，设川木洋村民委员会。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

全村208户、793人，其中常住356人，流动437人，分为7个村民小组。群众主要姓氏为陈姓，主要收入来自茶叶、太子参、竹林、水稻与服务业。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内有百年古庙五圣宫，另有清末古民居一座。[1][2]
