蒲洋村在黄柏乡西部，离乡所在地7.2公里，辖8个自然村。[1]

地名相传源于村西的两座小山，形如一龟一蛇，夜里会合拢；村北另有一片田地。[1] 村中以太子参、白术、黄栀子等药材为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1934年，村中设蒲洋乡苏维埃政府；1935年在此设蒲洋乡联保处。[1]

1940年，此地并入富溪，划为富溪乡辖；1944年改名蒲安保。1950年又设蒲洋乡，归第二区；1958年改为蒲洋大队，1984年撤销大队，设立村民委员会。[1]

人口民族[edit]

371户、1452人，其中常住852人，流动600人；全村共有18个村民小组。群众主要姓氏为王、江、游、林、杨。[1]

文化[edit]

2015年10月，蒲洋村入选「福建省第一批省级传统村落」；由福建省爱卫办于2022年12月授予蒲洋村「2022年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
