上黄柏村在黄柏乡西南部，离乡所在地约1公里，只辖一个自然村。[1]

游朴生于此地，村内的游氏祠堂是柘荣县游氏的总祠堂。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1980年，此地设上黄柏大队；1984年改设上黄柏村民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村名与黄柏乡的来历相近，同样源于山巅多松柏之说。[1]

人口民族[edit]

村内共78户、337人，其中常住210人，流动128人；在外的流动人口里，长期外出的有78人，季节性外出的有50人。群众多为游姓，主要收入是茶叶和太子参。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中保存着游朴祖父的坟墓，俗称「三月三墓」。村中有一口千年古井，另有一座古庙与一座古寺，村内外各有一棵千年红豆杉。[1]

文化[edit]

村中获得的荣誉有：「第五批中国传统村落」（2019年6月列入）、「第一批国家森林乡村」（2019年12月列入）、「第四批美丽宜居村庄示范」（2016年12月入选）、「第五批福建省历史文化名镇名村」（2016年5月由福建省人民政府认定）、「第六届全国文明村镇」（2020年11月授予）、「2021年福建省卫生村」（2021年11月由福建省爱卫办命名）。[1]
