兰中村在东源乡东南，处于霞浦、福鼎与柘荣三县的交界地带，村址海拔640米，离乡政府约28公里。村境有兰中、杨家溪、岭头店和郑家仔四个自然村，全村603人。[1][4]

地理环境[edit]

村内耕地579亩，山地1200亩，毛竹240亩，茶园60亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的由来：房屋建在深山密林之中，故名。[2]

1965年设兰中大队，1984年改称兰中村委会。[3]

经济[edit]

兰中村是老区基点行政村，村民多走兴农、护林、中药与养畜的路子。村内有雷竹基地30亩，并有养羊大户一户。[1]
